I think you still have some revisions to make to the pose to make it more effective and dynamic – this is a warrior, she should feel powerful, strong, like she’s putting all her strength into wielding this sword – like it matters. I rather quickly found a very suitable pose reference for you here: [link] . I think that if you try to analyze and sketch this girl’s pose a few times you will get a better idea of how a dynamic line of action should look. Her torso is what you should focus on, look how her it twists back and sideways, her neck flexing and straining to keep her head level and focused on her target. The legs in your painting are very close to getting there, but the torso being in such a lax angle screws up the whole pose.

Another helpful trick to figuring out a pose is trying it yourself. You don’t even need to do it in front of a mirror, just feeling the way you balance yourself is sometimes enough.

Other than that you seem to be doing great.  the way you apply colour is clean and steady, the colour itself – though I think it can use some more saturation and hue variations (it looks a bit monochromatic right now, but maybe that’s what you’re going for) – is looking good.

All in all, it's not THERE yet, but I'm sure it's going to be when you're done.

Looking forward to seeing this finished!
Hope I was of help.
